How is Lactation Consulting covered by MSP?

Because I am a registered midwife and also a certified lactation consultant, I can offer breastfeeding support under my midwifery scope of practice and bill MSP a consult under your primary care provider. To make this easy please contact me regarding a referall form I feel strongly that lactation consulting is most helpful in ones own home, because that is the space where you do 99.9% of all your infant feeding!! Using your own pillows, props, chairs, beds, etc is amazingly helpful, not to mention being able to stay home instead of heading out with a newborn to another appointment
